Refund and Cancellation Policy

Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all subscriptions and services purchased through the Macruit platform (“Service”), accessible at https://macruit.com/.
By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We do not bind you to long-term contracts unless you have explicitly opted for an annual plan.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription directly through your Billing Dashboard or by contacting our support team at support@macruit.com.
Effect of Cancellation
If you cancel your subscription, your account will remain active and fully functional until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
No Further Charges
Once cancelled, you will not be charged for the subsequent billing cycle.
Refund Policy
You have the right to request a refund within 14 calendar days from the date of your initial subscription purchase, unless the exception below applies.
To meet the refund deadline, it is sufficient that you notify us of your refund request before the expiration of the 14-day period.
This refund right applies only to the initial subscription purchase and does not apply to renewals or recurring billing cycles.
Exception – Digital Service Usage
Macruit is a digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, and access to the Service is provided immediately upon subscription activation.
Loss of Refund Eligibility Upon Usage
The 14-day refund right becomes void if, during this period, you:
Access or use any Macruit platform feature or module, including but not limited to resume parsing, AI search, candidate management, screening, interviews, or campaigns. Upload resumes, candidate data, or other content. Initiate any processing, automation, or compute-based operation. Consume platform resources in any form.
Once any part of the Service is used, the Service is deemed to have been delivered, and no refund will be issued.
Accidental Activation
A refund within the 14-day window will be granted only if: The subscription was activated accidentally, and No Macruit modules or features were accessed or used, and No data was uploaded or processed, and The refund request is submitted within 14 days of the initial purchase.
No Refunds After 14 Days
After the 14-day period: All payments are final and non-refundable. No partial refunds or credits are provided for unused time, partial months, downgrades, or lack of usage. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before renewal if you do not wish to continue. Failure to cancel before renewal does not qualify for a refund.
Due to the digital nature of the Service, there is no return or reversal mechanism comparable to physical goods.
Chargebacks and Disputes
We encourage you to contact us at support@macruit.com before initiating any payment dispute.
If a chargeback or dispute is initiated without prior contact and is found to be invalid or abusive, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate the associated account.
